EdgeHabit is a technology platform for trade journaling, analytics, replay and trader self‑review. It is not a broker, investment adviser, portfolio manager, research analyst or any SEBI‑registered intermediary. This Risk Disclosure is a summary of the risk‑related sections in our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy and must be read together with those documents. In case of any conflict, the Terms & Conditions will prevail.

1. Trading and market risk

Trading and investing in securities, derivatives, futures, options, commodities, currencies, cryptocurrencies, leveraged products and other financial instruments involves substantial risk. You may lose part or all of the capital invested. Past performance, backtests, replays, analytics or hypothetical examples do not indicate future results and must not be treated as guarantees.

Market conditions can change quickly. Broker APIs, data feeds, exchanges, internet connections and software systems may fail, lag, throttle or provide incomplete data, which can affect your trading decisions and outcomes. You should trade only with capital you can afford to lose and obtain advice from qualified professionals where appropriate.

2. No investment advice or guaranteed returns

EdgeHabit does not provide personalised investment advice, does not verify suitability of any trade or instrument for you, and does not guarantee profits, returns, win rate, risk reduction or trading success. Any charts, candles, analytics, statistics, AI outputs, coaching prompts, rules, playbooks, review workflows or educational content are for informational and record‑review purposes only.

You remain solely responsible for every trading, investment, tax, legal and risk‑management decision you make. EdgeHabit is not your financial, legal, tax, accounting, investment or regulatory adviser.

3. Data quality, connectivity and third‑party dependencies

EdgeHabit imports and processes data from brokers, uploaded files, APIs and third‑party services. Such data may contain errors, omissions or delays, and derived analytics may be approximate. Charts, candles, replays and metrics shown in EdgeHabit may differ from those shown by your broker, exchange or other platforms.

EdgeHabit relies on brokers, exchanges, data vendors, cloud providers and other third parties for connectivity, hosting, market data and infrastructure. We are not responsible for outages, delays, throttling, rate limits, data errors or discontinuation of third‑party services.

4. No execution, custody or funds handling

EdgeHabit does not provide brokerage services, does not hold client funds or securities, and does not execute trades in its own name. All trading activity takes place through your chosen broker or platform, under their terms and regulatory framework.

You are responsible for reviewing broker permissions, securing your broker accounts, maintaining any required API or market‑data subscriptions and monitoring your positions and orders.

Public broker sync is currently coming soon. Broker names or marks may identify tradebook formats or planned integrations; they do not imply current support, partnership, affiliation, approval, or endorsement. Do not provide broker login factors or API credentials unless a broker-specific connection is later shown as enabled through a permitted method.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EdgeHabit and its founders, directors, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, licensors and service providers are not liable for trading or investment losses, lost profits, opportunity loss, market loss, data‑feed errors, broker or exchange outages, or decisions you make based on EdgeHabit’s data, analytics or AI outputs. Our total aggregate liability is limited as described in the “Limitation of liability” section of our Terms & Conditions.
