Zerodha Tradebook Journal

Turn your Zerodha tradebook into a discipline-focused trading journal.

EdgeHabit helps you review Zerodha tradebook data to analyze trades, mistakes, risk, rule violations, and behavior using your own historical activity. EdgeHabit is an independent trading journal and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Zerodha.

Why import Zerodha trades into a journal

A tradebook shows what you bought and sold. A trading journal should show what the trade meant: whether the setup was valid, whether risk was respected, whether the exit followed your plan, and whether the same mistake is repeating.

  • Review trade timing and instrument behavior.
  • Separate good losses from bad losses.
  • Track recurring rule violations.
  • Measure performance by setup, day, and segment.
  • Build a review routine around real trading history.

How to get your Zerodha tradebook

Zerodha provides your historical trades from Console, its reporting portal. You can download the tradebook and then review it in EdgeHabit.

  1. 1Log in to Zerodha Console (console.zerodha.com).
  2. 2Open Reports, then Tradebook.
  3. 3Select the segment (equity, F&O, etc.) and the date range you want to review.
  4. 4Download the tradebook as a CSV or Excel file.
  5. 5Upload that file to EdgeHabit to review trades, risk, and behavior.

What EdgeHabit does with the data

Once your trades are in, EdgeHabit organizes them for review rather than just storage. The goal is to make repeat mistakes and risk patterns visible so you can act on them.

  • Group trades by setup, symbol, segment, and time of day.
  • Flag trades where risk looked larger than planned.
  • Tag mistakes and estimate their rupee cost over time.
  • Track whether discipline is improving across weeks.
